Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Born in 1859, Arthur Conan Doyle was both a doctor and the creator of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. As well as over fifty short stories about the detective and his sidekick, Watson, Doyle also wrote plays, poetry and many other novels.
