Awful Auntie

David’s latest blockbuster. Spooky, daft and crazy funny. With a swindling aunt, a ghostly chimney sweep and a pet owl not called Hedwig. What more do you want? Get your orders in! Well, well, well. David Walliams has cornered the market in dastardly villains. No more cuddly folk like Mr Stink. Lately, it’s all been sadistic dentists and weirdos who like to cook pet rats. And that’s great – we haven’t had such fun baddies since Roald Dahl gave us The Witches and The Twits! Now it’s time to meet Aunt Alberta. She might look respectable, with her posh friends and passion for tiddlywinks. But we think it’s a fair guess that she’s going to be awesomely evil…

This book is great! I loved it! I highly recommend this book for children of all ages, as a bedtime story or to read by yourself. This book is hilarious and fun to read. The auntie in the book is, really, really, really, really, really really, really, really, really, really awful. I think anybody can enjoy it, even adults. It is a great book to read and I enjoy reading it in the bath. It has more than 400 pages so it should keep you busy for some time.

I loved this book as it was full of tension and it was like a mountain because the story line went up and down, in addition the book made myself and my mum think about what was going to happen and that is why I loved this book.
