I love this book!
When Scarlett gets thrown out of her school for misbehavior, her mum sends her off to live with her dad for a fresh start.
Her dad had left Scarlett and her mum for his new Irish girlfriend and they moved to Ireland. Scarlett could live with that, but then she found out they had a little girl, and her life had fallen apart.
But then she met Kian, the mysterious boy she found by Lough Choill and her tries to change Scarlett’s mind about life.
This book is great, and well worth a read.

Like Dizzy, this was one of the first Cathy books I read, and I remember flicking through it at a friends house, and begging her to let me take it home to finish. When I did, there was nothing I wanted more than to live in the irish countryside and be homeschooled. And have ketchup red hair of course. Read this book, you won’t regret it. :)

A compelling book by Cathy Cassidy. Scarlett has always lived on the outside; she’s been kept away from her hopes and dreams, although she’s been given plenty of chances. Now, she hardly tried. When her mum packs her off to her dad’s country home with her step mom and step sister, she thinks it will be awful. But when she meets a mysterious boy names Kian and starts to share, she finds life isn’t so bad after all. A beautiful story with a touch of romance.

It grabs you right from the start so you just can’t put it down! I turned vegetarian after reading it though! :S

This is an interesting book full of figurative language consequently this makes the book like one long piece of poetry. It has a great flow and it follows a troubled teen through her time.

I loved this book, I couldn’t ge my head out of it. I read it in bed when I was supposed to be asleep and I laughed and cried at it! Would reccommend it to any girl aged between 8 and 13 yrs!
