   This book is hard to put down when you start reading it. It’s very sad in places and yet beautiful too. I love books that are centered around an animal.

   Jack runs away from school. He runs right out of there and he escapes to an old woman’s house where he learns of the butterfly lion. I would recommend an age rating of 9-12

   I think that the Butterfly Lion is an book which involves alot of adventure but is also sad at times in the book. It uses a lot of imagination and is a book which in my opinion would fit all age groups and maybe book types.
