Barry and the Hairy Scary Monster

Barry and his fishy friends are playing ocean hide and seek. Puffy finds a great hiding place in an old wreck – but he gets the fright of his life when he sees a hairy monster lurking in the shadows! Luckily, Barry the fish with fingers comes to the rescue… and discovers that the ‘monster’ is just a friendly seahorse who needs a haircut! Putting a humorous spin on a common childhood fear, this is a delightful and reassuring caper from the vibrant undersea world of Barry, the world’s only tickling fish!

Not as good as the original Barry book but still funny all the same, my 4 year old love’s it :-)

  • I thought that Barry, The Fish with Fingers was a great book. I particularly liked the scene when the monster had a haircut, because it had a page of funny pictures.

My favourite character was The Hairy Scary Monster because he looked silly after his haircut.

I think this book was a 9/10 because it was really funny, but it is not the best.
