So why don’t we hear more about great women from the past? You might know of a few: Joan of Arc, maybe, or Boudica, or Florence Nightingale. But did you know there were female gladiators called Gladiatrices? Or that Nimkasi was the Sumerian goddess of beer? Or that Mary Jacob Phelps invented the bra?
