James and the Giant Peach
Follow James as he sails across the Atlantic in a gigantic magical peach, with a crew of boy-sized bugs for company! James has had a rotten time since his parents died, leaving him stuck with two ghastly aunts. Aunt Sponge is hugely fat with a face like a boiled ham. Aunt Spiker is a screeching, bony old hag. It seems there’s no escape for James – until something odd happens. A peach at the bottom of the garden starts to grow and grow. Soon James finds himself inside the giant peach, making friends with some gigantic bugs. And that’s not all: the peach is moving!
- One of Roald Dahl’s funniest and best-loved classics

- Brilliant black-and-white artwork by Quentin Blake
