When Sophie rescues Otto, a baby bonobo clinging to life, she suddenly understands her mother’s decision to create an animal sanctuary in one of the most dangerous places on Earth: the African Congo. But the Congo is a dangerous place, even for people who want to do good. When revolution breaks out and the sanctuary is attacked by violent rebel soldiers, Sophie and her mother end up hiding in the jungle in a desperate bid to save the bonobos.
