Little Foxes

When we want an animal story, we go direct to Michael Morpurgo. Trust us and try him. This tale of a lost boy and a fox cub in peril is unforgettable stuff. Billy is bullied at school and nagged to death in Aunty May’s tenth-floor council flat. There’s only one place he really feels alive – in the wilderness by the canal. There he watches over a family of fox cubs. But one terrible day, the fox family is murdered. Unwanted and unloved, Billy and the last fox cub run for their lives…
