Morris Gleitzman Pair

We love Morris because he can be jollier than Santa, and make us cry at the exact same time. Plus, he dared call a book Bumface. Kudos. One book about cancer. One about, uh, the facts of life. (You’ll crease up at the very first line.) An awesome mix of tears and laughter, shaken and stirred by a genius. Have your hankie ready: you’ll need it on two counts. Bumface has more jolly ho-ho-ho than Santa’s grotto. Loud snorts that make your face turn red and snot come out of your nose. Two Weeks with the Queen will tug at your heartstrings and make you laugh at things you never thought were funny. After all, what’s the point of life if you can’t laugh at it?
